How to apply for, configure and launch your Marketplace shop

Opening a Marketplace shop is free and self-service — there is no prior approval step. The one exception: if you use AI-generated graphics, your portfolio needs approval before you publish, per the Marketplace Regulations. Your shop still won't sell anything until you configure and activate it. This is the whole path, in order.

Part 1 — Apply

Account → Marketplace settings → Apply now.

  1. Complete the Vendor Application form. Opening an account is free, but filling in the form is mandatory — an incomplete application means your Marketplace can be closed.
  2. Read Regulament Printoteca Marketplace (the marketplace rules) and the Sellers Guide.

These two documents carry the actual rules — commission, what you may and may not sell, how payouts work. Read them before ticking "Done, I read it".

  1. Click Submit.
  2. Tick the terms and conditions checkbox, then click Create Marketplace.

Part 2 — Configure before you go live

Check your shop's Active/Inactive state right after creation, and don't leave it live before you've configured your landing page and uploaded some products — an empty shop that's live is worse than one that isn't.

Part 3 — Configure the landing page

The Marketplace is multilingual. You have to configure both the English and the Romanian pages. You can use different titles for each — they don't have to be translations of one another.

For each language:

  1. Enter your marketplace description in the text area.
  2. Upload your marketplace logo.
  3. Fill in the contact details. The email is mandatory — it's how customers reach you. The phone number is optional and can be removed.
  4. Click Save.

To switch language, use the EN / RON lei dropdown, select RO – Romanian, click Apply, and fill in the Romanian description. Click Salvează.

Part 4 — Make products visible and price them

Scroll down to the product settings area. Products you've already configured as sellable on the marketplace show up in this list.

Not every product and colour is available for marketplace selling. Look for the "Available for Marketplace" tag, or filter for Base products when creating.

For each product you can:

  • Set the visibility.
  • Change the title.

⚠️ If you change the title in English, you must change it in Romanian too. Save, switch to Romanian, then change the title there. Otherwise one language shows the old title.

  • Set the price.

Take your commission into account. The displayed price includes taxes. The difference between your selling price and our cost is your margin — after taxes.

  • Edit the product options (colour and size) with the options button. It's the same pop-up you saw when you first configured the product. You can add or remove colours later.
  • Use the settings button to open a fuller configuration page — adding a label, setting a brand.
  • Mark the product as visible on the front page if you want it featured.

After each change, click Save.

A product left un-ticked as Visible will not be displayed on your marketplace page, no matter how well it's configured.

Part 5 — Preview, then activate

Use Preview to see the shop as a customer would. When you're happy with it, activate the Marketplace.
