Using the product designer: print method, precise placement, and mockups

The designer is where you decide how your artwork gets onto the garment and exactly where it lands. Everything in the catalogue can be sold print on demand.

1. Pick the product

Select a product category, then a product from the catalogue.

Optional: click Photo to see the real product images. Colours can look different in real life than on screen — see "Why my colours didn't match my screen?"

2. Select the print method

Some products allow DTG, DTF or Embroidery. The choice affects both the look and the price — see "Choosing between DTG and DTF for garment printing."

3. Choose the side to decorate

Front, back, sleeves — whatever the product supports.

If you plan to use a custom neck label, configure your brand first. The label option won't be there otherwise. Neck labels are applied by heat transfer and are available on garments only — not on caps, beanies, bags or aprons.

4. Add your artwork

Upload an image, add text, or choose from your own saved designs.

Click the image to resize, rotate or replace it. You can also type exact width and height instead of dragging.

5. Place it precisely

Click Next to open more options — rotate, align.

  • Use the alignment tools to centre the design.
  • We usually print 4–5 centimetres down from the bottom of the neck. That's the placement that reads as "normal" on a worn garment.

For millimetre control, click Design area. A ruler opens up and all values are expressed in millimetres. Keep that 4–5 cm neck distance in mind when you type coordinates.

6. Download the mockup

Click the mockup button to download a rendered image of your product. Use it on any page or website.

If you've connected your shop (see "Connect your shop and push products to it"), mockups are pushed to your website automatically — you don't have to download and re-upload them.

There's also a mockup preview button. Allow a couple of seconds for it to generate.
