# Sellers Guide-EN

Opening and running a Marketplace shop on Printoteca follows five steps.

## 1. Apply for a Marketplace shop

Go to **Account → Marketplace settings → Apply now**.

- Complete the **Vendor Application** form — filling it in is mandatory; an incomplete application means your Marketplace can be closed.
- Read the Marketplace Regulations and this Sellers Guide before ticking "Done, I read it" — they cover commission, what you may and may not sell, and how payouts work.
- Click **Submit**, tick the terms and conditions checkbox, then click **Create Marketplace**.

If you plan to sell AI-generated graphics, your portfolio needs approval **before** you publish — see the Marketplace Regulations.

## 2. Configure your shop before going live

Check your shop's Active/Inactive state right after creation. Don't switch it to live before you've configured your landing page and uploaded some products — an empty shop that's live is worse than one that isn't.

The Marketplace is multilingual — you need to configure **both the English and Romanian** landing pages (titles don't have to be translations of each other):
- Enter your marketplace description.
- Upload your marketplace logo.
- Fill in contact details — the email is mandatory, the phone number is optional.
- Click Save, then switch language (EN / RON lei dropdown → RO – Romanian → Apply) and repeat for Romanian.

## 3. Add and configure your products

Not every product and colour is available for marketplace selling — look for the "Available for Marketplace" tag, or filter for **Base products** when creating.

**Select a maximum of 5 colors per product.** After you configure new products, we check them periodically to make sure they meet all the requirements for a #goodprint! Products that don't comply with the Marketplace Regulations can be delisted.

If a product is delisted even though it meets the content conditions, it doesn't mean your graphics aren't good — just that, in our experience, they won't be successful on printed products. Contact us for detailed feedback; we always appreciate a friendly tone and a constructive attitude.

## 4. Track sales from your Dashboard

Commissions can be withdrawn on request: go to **Credits & Sales** in your account and press **Request payment**. The transaction is processed within 2–3 working days if all your documents are in order.

When you request your first payout, you'll be asked for paperwork — an invoice if you sell as a company, or a copy of your ID and your bank details if you sell as an individual — sent to marketplace@printoteca.ro. As a gentlemen's agreement, please don't withdraw amounts under 100 lei, so accounting costs stay covered.

Every time an order comes in for a product from your store, you'll receive an email so you can follow order progress in real time. Canceled orders or returns are not charged.

## 5. Promote your store

Each store has a unique link you can share on social media or promote however attracts more sales. If you want a special campaign for your products, contact a Printoteca representative.

## What content is NOT accepted on the Printoteca Marketplace

- Products that don't comply with the No Fake & No Hate policy
- AI-generated graphics that don't comply with the Marketplace policy for AI-generated content
- Products with graphics taken from stock image platforms, paid or free
- Products reproducing well-known jokes or typo-based messages without elaborate visual content
- Flooding (excessive product uploads) — we reserve the right to limit uploads to maintain variety and visibility for all vendors
- Duplicate or near-duplicate products (slightly different graphic, or same graphic on a similar cut/look)
- Products with more than 5 selected colors, or colors that don't match the uploaded graphic
- Graphics that don't work with the background(s) they're applied to (black on black, white on white, etc.)
- Images without a transparent background that are really a solid rectangle
- Raw scanned images
- "Personal archive" photos without artistic content (vacation photos, flowers in the garden)
- Graphics incompatible with DTG printing — we recommend testing a DTG print at least once before opening an online store
