Marketplace vendor guide: payouts, account settings, and product eligibility

This article covers how payouts, account settings, and product eligibility work for sellers on the Printoteca Marketplace.


Payout threshold


Payouts have a minimum threshold of 100 RON. If your available balance is below that, it stays in your account and rolls over — you don't lose it, it simply waits until your balance reaches the threshold on a future payout cycle.


What you need to receive a payout


  • A valid ID (CI).
  • A bank account or a Revolut account to receive funds.
  • The email on your Marketplace account must match the email associated with your payout details.
  • KYC (know-your-customer) verification documents — these are required to verify your identity before funds can be released. Expect to provide them as part of setting up payouts; if you're asked again later, it's part of the verification process, not an error.


Brand display name


You can configure the brand name shown to buyers in your vendor settings — it doesn't have to match your personal or legal name. Set it once and it appears across your shop and listings.


Which products can be listed on the Marketplace


Only products marked as "Marketplace Base Products" are eligible for Marketplace listing. Not every model in the general Printoteca catalog can be sold on the Marketplace — if a product you want to sell isn't eligible, it won't appear as an option to publish there, even if you can order it normally for yourself or a POD shop. Check the product type before building a listing around it.


Commission


Printoteca takes a commission on Marketplace sales. Commission is not charged on your own purchases of your own products (e.g. buying a sample of something you designed) — it applies to sales to other buyers.


Content policy


Marketplace listings must be original designs. Uploading near-duplicate or mass-generated designs can trigger account suspension under our No Fake & No Hate policy. If your account is suspended for this reason, you can request reactivation after removing the problematic listings and bringing your shop back into compliance — contact us to start that process.
