Create a product: upload a design, configure it, and edit it later

A "product" on Printoteca is your design applied to a base product — a specific garment, in the colours and sizes you choose, with your label and your resale price.

There are two routes to creating one. Both end in the same place.

Route A — start from the design

Account → My Products → Add new design.

1. Upload your design file. For best prints we recommend 300 DPI at the size you want it printed.
2. Give the design a title, then click Add.
3. Apply the design to base products. Each product is configured individually.
4. Choose a product to customise.
5. Position the design. Resize and move it as you wish — it must not exceed the dotted area.
6. Select the label. On garments you can add a custom neck label, applied by heat transfer (DTF transfer) on the inside neck. Labels have no preview, so name them well. Accessories with no neck — caps, beanies, bags, aprons — have no label option. Configure your labels first in "Configure your POD brand."
7. Set a resale price (optional). The profit is calculated automatically.

   If a product has multiple price ranges, make sure your final price covers all of them.

8. Click Create product. If a warning appears, click Continue — we recommend at least 150 DPI for t-shirts.

Your product is created. Use the ⋯ menu on the product for more options, like export or edit.

Route B — start from the catalogue

If you're browsing the shop and find a product you like:

1. Choose a product category, then select the product from the list.

   Planning to sell on Marketplace? Filter for Base products — not every product and colour is available for marketplace selling.

2. Scroll down and add a design to the chosen product.
3. Select a design from your saved collections.
4. Set your label and resale price.
5. Click Create product, then Continue.

Editing an existing product

From My Products, open the design's menu → Manage. Click the product you want to edit, then Manage again.

Say you want a pocket-sized version of an existing design: resize and reposition it, then click the settings button. You get two options:

• Save Changes — overwrites the same product.
• Save as new product — creates a second product with the new placement, keeping the original intact.

That second option is the fast way to build a family of products (full-front, pocket, back print) from one design.
